Welcome to Cherry Class blog!

We are now 'blog up and running'!!! 

The children are now settling into school life and routines.

You may have heard talk about 'funky fingers'? This is a daily activity which is designed to improve fine motor control and development. We start with a whole class 'warm up'

We do have fun and we do smile....honest!!

We then move onto group activities which are rotated through the week. These focus more on developing the muscles in the hands and fingers.

Here we are doing 'dough gymn'. We do this activity every week. Look at our 'disco fingers'!!

Then we have picture cards to turn over and stack...

And here we are putting the chocolates in the box with tweezers!!

Threading the dinosaurs..

And decorating the octopus with coloured Cheerios....(sorry we can't find those photos...). 

Each week the activities change. The children are loving it!!
